Ask Ady is the alter-ego of Ady Burton. Ady has been selling workwear and safety clothing for the past 25 years. He’s seen just about everything the industry has to offer in that time, learning the business from his father in the heart of the South East of England. Now a 3rd generation business, his trade showroom and great customer service is known across the UK as is his cheeky banter.
With the rise of the internet Ady has seen that it is harder and harder to get your hands on products before you purchase them, and make informed buying decisions. Often products get bad reviews on sites, not because they are bad products, but because they are mis-specified or used for the wrong purpose. Then again, there are also some rubbish products out there too!
With all of the noise in the market Ady decided to change the way workwear is reviewed and shopped for, and Ask Ady was born.
Ask Ady is a site dedicated to providing honest, independent reviews of workwear products using Ady’s deep industry experience, along with honest and realtime feedback he gets on a daily basis from his army of loyal customers.
But Ask Ady isn’t just about reviews – it’s also about answering questions from the workwear buying public all over the world. Using the Ask Ady social media channels and good old fashioned email, Ady answers questions and dishes out banter in generous helpings.

With over 15 years’ experience selling to consumers and businesses I am a confident salesman who thrives on winning new business and enhancing existing business relationships. I enjoy sharing my experience and skills in a management or mentor role but I am also just as happy working independently on the road. I can negotiate across all levels within a business taking every opportunity to link, cross and up-sell a wide range of products whilst maximising profit margins.

Very interested in personal development and improvement, I am currently studying with the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management
Competent and confident in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. I can also use Salesforce and am quick at picking up new software and administration packages.
I have a full clean driving licence.
