The role presents an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated CDM / Principal Designer / Health & Safety Adviser to join this well-established Construction Consultancy working on a varied and interesting range of projects.

An excellent opportunity to join a mid sized, professional and friendly team of Construction Consultants based within their London or Buckinghamshire offices. They are continuously hiring more staff to deal with their rapid expansion and not overwork their current, existing teams. This is proven by their fantastic staff retention records.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide Principal Designer, Adviser to Principal Designer, Client (CDM
2015) Adviser services and Health & Safety advice/audits on a range of projects throughout London and the South East. The candidate must be able to demonstrate their experience and competence in refurbishments, extensions,demolition and new builds.

Building Surveying experience could be advantageous, but not essential when applying for this position.
To be considered for this role it is beneficial to match the following criteria:

A minimum of two years practical experience providing client side CDM Services within the construction
· Construction background and hold a relevant technical and professional qualifications
· Membership of the APS and Design qualification or experience
· Membership of IOSH
· Have a thorough working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and associated legislation
· Good understanding of the design process and how to design out hazards and risks
· Commercial understanding of balancing health and safety risks with cost and programme whilst
maintaining legal compliance
· Commitment to service delivery and improvement
· A personable and flexible personality that works well within a small team
· Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients
· Capable of working on own initiative and have good time/resource management skills
· Full clean driving licence

Experience of delivering health & safety training bespoke & accredited previously, hold training qualification (e.g. PTLLS or AET); and Building Surveying experience / RICS membership – advantageous but not essential.

The Company has an enviable client base and has experience of dealing with a very broad range of projects
ranging in value from £25K to £60M
