How did you get started in the industry?
I started my career as an Environmental Health Officer, a multidisciplinary profession which includes mentoring businesses and regulating food hygiene, workplace safety, environmental legislation, licensing and more!

Who or what inspires you?
Eileen Grubba, the Hollywood actress who took part in my global Red Laces #womeninbusiness campaign. Eileen has overcome such adversity and campaigns so passionately for people with disabilities in the film and television industry.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My wife’s homemade Thai seafood curry.
What advice would you give to someone looking to getting started in the industry?
Learn how to learn and be curious about how each part of a business operates – with a focus on people. It’s all about people!

In a rapidly changing and digitising world, the principles and value of risk management and sustainability need to permeate all professions, sectors and industries. I recommend choosing a career where you can have the most impact in making the world a better place.
