A+A 2019
This year’s A+A took place in Düsseldorf from the 5th – 8th November and was attended by our VP of Americas Stuart Law, MD Nicky Taglione and UK Recruitment Manager Jamie-Leigh.
For those who haven’t heard, the A+A continues to be the world’s largest and most important event for safe and healthy working; with a total of 2,121 exhibitors from 63 nations this year and over 73,000 trade visitors.
Over the past 10 years, our team have attended exhibitions all over the world to ensure they maintain their knowledge and contacts for their respective regions.

Having gotten over the initial shock that there was an unexploded WW2 bomb under Düsseldorf things soon settled down and the show soon to center stage and went off with a bang!
2019 saw a huge increase in new manufacturers presenting their ranges at the show, many incorporating new technologies that set the benchmark for future innovations to truly revolutionize the way we keep people safe.
In terms of opportunities, we’re seeing a huge demand for technical specialists in the Americas in both product development and styles as more of the European flair is adopted globally; particularly in workwear and footwear.
We also spoke with several European brands looking to expand across the Atlantic into LATAM and North American markets, as well as many pacific brands venturing into Europe. The world of PPE is now truly a global stage with a fresh raft of new players and technologies, and it bodes well for the future of our industry.
