In May 2023, Women Talking Fire was founded. WTF is an independent networking and support group for women and male allies in the UK fire safety industry. The group aims to bring together women working in the UK fire safety industry and to ensure that women are visibly represented in our industry media and at industry events – it’s important that women can see role models that look like them. The group currently has over 1,200 followers and almost 600 members on their closed LinkedIn Group page.
Confidence, Communication and Career Progression Workshop
Women Talking Fire are holding a relaxed and fun day’s workshop with Business Leader and Executive Coach, Manjit Mandeir, on 6 March 2025. We know that having confidence and being able to communicate well are important tools for career progression. This interactive workshop is an opportunity to learn some practical skills and gain some actionable strategies for professional advancement.
We want delegates to be empowered to have more impact when communicating, raising their personal brand and helping them to reach their full potential. It’s also a great opportunity to network with likeminded professionals.
Manjit Mandeir is an award-winning Business Leader and Executive Coach. Her passion for empowering herself and others to learn and grow is critical to her practice and her unique leadership and sales programs have yielded remarkable results in personal and revenue growth.
The event is being held at the ASFP Academy in Coventry, with a negotiated discount at a local hotel and a get-together organised in a local pub the night prior for those able to join us.
We are especially grateful to our event sponsor – LGM Products – and to the ASFP Academy for hosting. Tickets are £75 per person, with an early bird discount available for those booking before the end of the year – book early as tickets are limited to 50 places!
